Written translation
At Inline Translation Services, written translation services consist of the human conversion of written text from one language (the “source text”) to another (the "target text") in such a way that the two texts can be considered to be equivalent.

Inline Translation Services uses native speaking professional translators with degrees in translation, relevant certifications from professional associations belonging to the Fédération Internationale des Traducteurs, such as the American Translators Association, and with training and experience in international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.

Inline’s translators have access to extensive dictionaries plus the latest translation and glossary management tools. Thanks to their well-honed Internet research skills, they can quickly track down appropriate, current terminology for virtually any subject matter in most living languages.

All Inline translations are reviewed by independent professional editors who are fluent in both source and target languages. They check all translations for completeness, accuracy, coherence, readability, and cultural sensitivity. Project output includes hard copy, basic formatting, and electronic files.

DTP/Typesetting
Many of Inline’s clients need their translations in camera-ready copy for high-quality printing, or for documents that can be downloaded from their websites.

The Inline Translation Services desktop publishing (DTP) department uses the latest version of the most popular programs including InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Publisher, and QuarkXPress. Alternately, Inline can work with clients' graphic designers to insure the translated text is typeset correctly. Design guidance
Inline Translation Services can provide valuable guidance on designing printed material. Some languages expand while others contract during the translation process, so it's critical that layouts will accommodate an "expansive" language like Spanish without resorting to font sizes that would be painfully small for most readers. In addition, Inline Translation Services helps clients choose colors, symbols, or photographs that are culturally appropriate for the target audiences.

Languages
Inline Translation Services routinely translates documents to the world's most popular languages and many languages of limited diffusion. Inline’s extensive network of professional translators also makes it possible to incorporate regional dialects for specific project requirements.
